Undergraduate Degrees

Glion’s Bachelor’s degree is an intensive 3.5-year program which will prepare you for a high-level career in the international hospitality and tourism industry, as well as the related service sectors. It combines the strength of Swiss rigor and hands-on learning with a modern approach to business strategy and specializations to enable students to experience both theory classes and practical learning in this unique university in Switzerland while enjoying their internship in any countries in the world as they wish. This program is suitable for undergraduate students age 17.5 and older.

Duration: 3.5 years

Intakes: February and September

Internship: 2 x Six months

Locations: students can choose to

  • Study Switzerland on the Glion and Bulle campuses
  • Study in London (only the first semester in Switzerland)
  • Spend a semester abroad in Marbella, Spain or Shanghai, China

+What will you study on this degree in university in Switzerland?

Year1: Practical arts and internship – Learn the art of hospitality in fine dining service and culinary arts, oenology, housekeeping and room divisions. Then, discover the realities of the industry through the 6-month internship.

Year2: Fundamentals of hospitality management – Learn to apply strategic theory to prepare for the management internship. (This year offers semester transfer options to Glion’s partner institutions in Marbella, Spain or Shanghai, China)

Year3: Business integration – Start the year with the second internship and apply management theory in actual industry business projects or a dissertation.
