Gastronomicom Institute is an International Culinary Academy which has been created 7 years ago by professionals of the Fine Dining Food and Beverage Gastronomy, and all teachers have many years experience in high level Gastronomic Hotel-restaurants.
With the Gastronomicom Institute you will learn French cooking or French pastry at the level one star Michelin (the best reference in the world for?high quality Hotel-restaurants or restaurants) the French wines with a lot of wine tastings and every week a visit of wine cellar, and the high level service that is provided in stars Michelin restaurants all over the world .
This level will open you the doors of many jobs in your country and also abroad , because there is a big lack of qualified people in most of the countries in the world in Food and beverage Industry and specially in the Gastronomy.
For former students the school is creating a newsletter specially to send regularly job offers that?they receive from many countries.To welcome you in Gastronomicom the school is located in a very nice and famous touristic city called Le Cap d Agde and located at the seaside , 50 km from Montpellier ( half an hour by train) and 120 km from the Spanish border ( one hour by car). The Mediterranean climate is very agreeable and we have generally around 300 days of sun in the year.
Gourmet Program (One Month, 4 weeks)
Length and Content of the Program : 4 weeks with 30 hours of hands-on classes per week.
15 hours cooking lessons + 15 hours pastry lessons per week or
15 hours cooking lessons + 15 hours Sommelier lessons per week
February, April, May or September
The 4 week Cooking Module includes:
1st Week: Cold First Dishes
2nd Week: Hot First Dishes
3rd Week: Fishes and their Sauces
4th Week: Meats and their Sauces
For the French cooking classes, students work in teams to help each other and to learn together. All week-ends are free.
Gastronomic Program (3 Months)
Length of the Program: 12 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per week, including 15 hours of hands-on Cooking classes and 15 hours of French lessons.
All week-ends are free and you have a 1 week mid-term break to visit France.
The Program is composed of 3 Modules, each of 4 weeks. They are structured in the same manner as the Gourmet Program Module, with of course, different dishes along with a higher level of difficulty.
For the French cooking classes, students work in teams to help each other and learn together.
Full Program ( 3 month course + 4 month internship)
Length of the Program: 12 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per week, including 15 hours of hands-on Cooking classes and 15 hours of French lessons + a 4 month Internship at a Luxury Hôtel-Restaurant in France.
All weekends are free (except during the internship) and you have a 1 week mid-term break to visit France.
One Year Program: Diploma in Gastronomic Cooking
Length of the Program: 12 months with a 3 month Gastronomic Cooking Course + a 3 month Gastronomic Pastry Course + a 6 month internship
Two Year Program: Diploma in Gastronomic Food and Beverage Management
This Program consists of:
One Year Preparatory Course at Gastronomicom similar to the normal One Year Program
Second Year with: 3 month University Level Management Course, 3 month practical Management Course and a 6 month Internship at a Gastronomic Establishment. All Management Courses are taught in French.
Students can qualify for a Direct Second Year entry if they can justify a minimum of 5 years professional experience at a Recognized Gastronomic Establishment AND an Advanced Level of French.

– For the students who are not native speakers, we required TOEIC 600 and TOEFL 550
