Greeting from the Alps! My name is Saharat Jivavisitnont (Sears), a current Bachelor program student of semester 7 from Thailand who is currently both a student ambassador and Vice President of Communication for Eta Sigma Delta Honors Society Committee.

Les Roches, a top 3 hospitality school in the world that embraces its entrepreneurial mindset and practical intensity courses, which differ itself from other schools in its field. Moreover, Les Roches provide an alternative route for students who may wish to enter other fields by offering marketing, finance and entrepreneurship specialization courses.

Moreover, Les Roches has offer significant cultural diversity which helps us to create and broaden our connections from all over the world. This would help us in the future for both employment opportunities and business expansion or partnerships since connection is immensely vital in this industry. Having friends from all over the world would help us to be expose to different perspectives thereby developing ourselves in various ways; thus, open-mindedness plays a role here at Les Roches. A class of 30 students is the maximum number as we would like all the students to be able to understand and clarify their doubts on the spot with our professors, which make lessons more efficient.

From the past 3 years at Les Roches, my favorite class was Hospitality Financial Management, as the professor is able to give a detailed explanation to many students who finance may not be their strongest subject.Besides the academic side, Les Roches has a two-mandatory semester of internships which aid individual to develop their skills, knowledge and indeed understanding the operation of the hotel in your respective department. Myself who has worked in the guest relations at W Hong Kong has improve my understanding of how to further enhance guest satisfaction by anticipating to their needs and wants.

Lastly, Les Roches is not just about studying and going on internships, but enjoying and spending the time wisely in the Alps of beauty Switzerland. Spending a wonderful Friday night by having fun with friends and exploring a weekend getaway in neighboring countries like France and Italy.

All in all, “Les Roches is not just a school but it’s a way of life!”
